Our long weekend sucks but that's life.  I thought I felt bad Thursday due to some tests and chemicals they gave me.  By Friday morning I knew I had the crud.  No headaches, no nasal congestion, it's all in my chest and I cough til I can't breathe.  Not wanting sympathy just wanted to lead up to a disclaimer:  I am on heavy doses of mucinex and cough medicine.  I probably shouldn't be on the internet but "my weekend sucks".  I'm bored and somewhat stoned.  See above.

We went out to Dad's yesterday to take care of some things.  I got to feeling so bad that Rick took me home.  We went back today.  After Rick finished his work he finally came and sat down with dad and I under the trees.  We're chatting away when Rick says, why is that tomato in that tree?  At first we didn't get it.  Then we see the tomato in the tree.  Well, our plum tree that had plums last week no longer has plums but seems to be branching out into tomatoes.  Cool.

As I sat on my butt "looking purty" but doing nothing.  I had the opportunity to get a family shot.  Guess who wasn't fast enough and guess who couldn't stay put?  It's half Jack's fault.  Lil Bit is left laying down.  Ruby, is standing.  And our newest family member, Jack, screwed up the photo.  Hey, the males always screw things up.

My dad with his Daisy.  Probably the most beautiful dog we have ever had.  When we found her we couldn't take her in.  We had 4 dogs and 1 cat.  Dad, graciously took her.  He specifically told me to take a picture of her looking back at me.  He thought that was cute.  I'll print a few pics and frame them for him.  She definitely copped a few poses today.

Hope you guys enjoy your weekend.  Please remember the reason for the holiday.  I plan to spend the rest of my time off trying to feel like a human again.  I know hubby would appreciate that.  Otherwise, he might be on the next "most wanted' list.
