This is the current blanket I'm working on. String blocks came from mom's house but don't think they were her's. I can usually tell by the fabrics used but most of these I don't recognize. The family women did share fabrics so I see a few I remember from my childhood.
I recently went thru all my projects and found I had 7 afghans started. It's not that I can't stayed focused, I just get bored quickly. So I discovered that by working on several (usually many more) I can keep going along. My goal is to complete a few before I start anything else.
Hubby is so proud of this picture.He can fill his big soup pot from the new 8" sink and new faucet. A leak in the old faucet started us on the journey of a kitchen re-do earlier than we planned.
I'm loving the black cabinets. Bottoms will be black and the uppers will remain white.
Hopefully a picture of the complete kitchen will be up here soon. Still, lots of painting, getting rid of stuff, and re-organizing.
