It's Monday Again.

During the work week we sometimes we go to a park for lunch. This simple field of flowers appealed to me.

Our son came out weekend before last and gave us a hand on ending the winter garden and starting the spring garden. Wished I had a picture of when he let the clutch out too fast and Mr. Tractor stood up. Lately I've been really missing my kids. I know I wasn't the typical "hands on mom" but I really did enjoy them. They have grown into such wonderful, responsible adults. Believe me I don't take any credit for it. They did that on their own. I never thought I would miss having a kid in the house. I DO! I'm old and don't like it.

The last of the turnips were pulled that day. 2 5-gallon buckets and this small laundry basket. Many small and deformed were left behind. The Texas drought was difficult.

Back to sewing. FYI - Hubby spent hours yesterday making his first Jambalaya. It is delicious. Have a good week everyone.
