I've been staying busy sewing, crocheting, and cleaning. I found more things in the freezer from 2010 that were not freezer burnt so they will be supper tonight. Hubby had wrapped this pork butt in freezer wrap twice. He must have squeezed and pushed every inch of air out. This meat looked as if we just purchased it from the store. Well, before he cooked it.
The zipper cream peas looked good too.
Rick had picked some pears in the country last week. He got up this morning and canned them. He didn't put cinnamon in these. He went with just cloves this time. Everything he makes is delicious so I don't think I'll miss the cinnamon.
Mutt and Jeff greeted me when I got out to our property yesterday. Kidding aside,
they do look cute together.
The shed is coming along. I forgot to take pictures. Rick planted a little fall garden. I go back to work this week. It's been nice to be home but it's time to get moving on our future plans. To do that, I need a paycheck and to get stronger physically.
